Hi, I'm Stephen Perry, a senior software engineer specializing in payment processing and healthcare fintech. I design and build secure, scalable, resilient payment infrastructure on .NET (6 through 10) and Microsoft Azure, spanning card-not-present, card-present, and ACH payments, and I currently lead my team's adoption of AI-assisted software delivery. I've enjoyed tackling challenges in the medical claims, banking, and payment processing sectors. Ultimately, I'm passionate about creating software that's scalable, maintainable, and efficient.

2024 - PresentWellfit Technologies- Supported the migration to Chase Merchant Services by implementing page encryption in Angular apps and updating upstream APIs for multi-processor payments; subject matter expert for Chase reconciliation reporting.
- Built the ACH debit lifecycle for a next-generation payments API, including a state machine, NACHA change notifications, daily limits, and authorization capture.
- Designed a payment method vault and delivered a bulk token migration pipeline on Azure Functions with checkpoint and resume, dry runs, and reconciliation files; 765 tests, load-tested at seven-figure volumes.
- Hardened a payments API with idempotency-based duplicate-charge protection, a build-time authorization guard, and cross-service validation parity tests.
- Served as payments subject matter expert for EMV PIN pad deployments; built EMV PIN pad management microservice and shipped one-click lane screen deployment for supported devices.
- Leading AI-assisted delivery for the payments team: owns the agent-based SDLC framework, built a PowerShell PR review tool with human approval gates, and runs multi-agent adversarial code reviews.
